I’ll keep this short and sweet. A1 Roofing is more than just a business for us—it’s a family legacy.
When my dad, Dave Turley, started this company over 30 years ago in 1992, he built it on the fundamental principles of honesty, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Today, as his son and nephew, we work day in and day out to honor those values.
We will always strive to give you the most pleasant home improvement experience possible, and in doing so, we hope to be your family’s personal roofers for years to come.

Dave Turley
Founder
Dave founded A1 Roofing in 1992 in Orem, UT. Over the last 30+ years, he has overseen the installation and repair of thousands of roofs all across the state. A1 Roofing has done everything from outhouses and chicken coops to multimillion dollar homes, houses of worship, federal buildings and state roofing projects. Many times he was asked to do what other companies couldn’t or didn’t want to do because it was too far, too difficult or required a level of expertise others were unable to provide.
In addition to roofing, Dave’s passion for Utah and World War II history has allowed him to work as a historical specialist on movie sets. In his free time, he enjoys being with family at The Ranch in southern Utah rebuilding and letting his grandchildren drive World War II Jeeps.
Israel Turley
Co-Owner
Israel (Dave’s son) was born into the world of roofing. He graduated from BYU in 2016 with a degree in Business Management and went on to start two successful roofing ventures in San Diego, California. In 2020, Israel stepped back into the family business, along with his partner (cousin), to take over the reins from his father. In his spare time,, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby girl, playing chess, competitive shooting and collecting antiques.
Anthony Alor
Co-Owner
Anthony (Dave’s nephew) was also born into a world of construction and engineering. From a young age, Anthony was doing it all from building houses to rebuilding car motors. In 2017, Anthony founded a successful solar company in Southern California and later went on to start two other successful roofing and construction ventures in Oregon. In 2020, along with Israel, Anthony stepped into the family business. During his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his wife and baby girl, rounding up the boys for “Call of Duty” and playing soccer.
Sergio Alor
Warehouse Manager
Sergio grew up in Orem, UT. With a background in mechanics, metal work and construction, Sergio’s value in the field is unmatched. In his free time he enjoys listening to music, reading books and playing the guitar.
Michael Parkins
Sales Manager
Michael is a Utah Valley native. He grew up in Pleasant Grove and spent all of his life here aside from a few years in Nephi, Utah. Michael played his part as a true-blue American driving Semi-Trucks across America for eight years. After he decided it was time for a career change, A1 Roofing became the next step in his journey. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his siblings, attending conferences and reading books!
Israel Aragon
Warranty Manager
Israel has been in the world of roofing for over 25 years. He has installed roofs all across the western United States and has done everything from metal to mud roofs. In his free time, Israel makes hats of all kinds. He loves spending time with his kids and grandkids and as time permits, loves traveling to Mexico and Colombia.
Lehi Aragon
Field Manager
Lehi’s background is extensive to say the least. From cooking gourmet meals to studying Latin American literature Lehi is as refined as they come. His attention to detail in our commercial silicone department is invaluable.
Will Alor
Exterior Crew Lead
Wil is a master craftsman. With over seven years of experience in the gutter and exterior industry, Wil brings with him a wealth of knowledge. In his free time, Wil enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing the guitar, and preparing for the apocalypse.
Kleber Alor
Exteriors Manager
Kleber owned and operated his own gutter operation for four years before A1 Roofing acquired his company. Kleber’s extensive knowledge and understanding of gutter & exterior systems has played a vital role in A1 Roofing. In his freetime, Kleber enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids in Eagle Mountain. If you keep an eye out, you’ll catch Kleber in the recording studio crafting his latest raps.
Claudia Enrique
Office Manager
Claudia has been with A1 Roofing since 2023 and made an enormous impact since her arrival. Claudia’s detailed organizational skills have kept the team in line and streamlined many of our processes. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, fueling productivity with regular exercise and fresh air, and expressing her creativity in home and event decor.
History of a1 roofing
A1 Roofing was founded in Orem, UT in 1992 by Dave Turley. After spending years in the corporate world, Dave decided it was time to venture off on his own. With little more than a hammer in hand, a ladder, and a truck, Dave began laying the foundation of a company that would stand the test of time. Since then, A1 Roofing has done everything from outhouses and chicken coops to multimillion-dollar homes, houses of worship and federal buildings, and state roofing projects. In 2020, Dave’s son and nephew stepped in as owners and built upon Dave’s legacy as one of the oldest roofing companies in Utah.
Why the vintage WW2 Theme?
While roofing always paid the bills, Dave has always had a unique fascination with World War II history. Over the years, after reading dozens upon dozens of WWII history books ranging from war stories to faith stories, what started as a hobby slowly evolved into a profession. Soon, Dave was fully immersed in anything and everything related to WWII, such as rebuilding Military Willys Jeeps and collecting uniforms or firearms. Eventually, this led to the big screen! Movie producers began reaching out, requesting Dave to come on set as a military specialist. He has been on the following movie sets:
